Why are my pallet loads shifting?
The load is not held as one unit, so braking and turning forces move it.
Possible causes
- Too little stretch film containment force
- Film not locked to the pallet
- Voids in the trailer
- Damaged pallets
What to inspect
- Wrap pattern and layers
- Gaps between loads
- Pallet deck boards
Potential corrective actions
- Raise containment force and anchor film to the pallet
- Fill voids with dunnage
- Add strapping or corner boards
