Checklist
FIBC filling and grounding
Points to confirm before and during bulk bag filling, especially near flammable dust or vapour.
Site: ____________Date: ____________Checked by: ____________
Bag type
- Bag type (A, B, C or D) suits the product and the area's dust or vapour classification.
- Safe working load and safety factor on the label cover the fill weight.
- Liner, if used, is compatible with the bag type's static protection.
Before filling
- Type C bags: ground clip attached and continuity checked before product flows.
- Filling equipment, frame and operators are grounded per site procedure.
- Lifting loops are not twisted and the frame holds them at the right height.
During and after
- Ground stays connected until filling ends and the bag is closed.
- Bag stands upright and stable; no one stands under a suspended bag.
- Spout is tied and the label and batch details are recorded.
